Kingmets honeycomb panel is manufactured by using semi-automatic production line. We use automatic glue spraying machine and pressing machine.
Below are the production steps for making honeycomb panel:
Step 1: Skin sheets cutting. We use shearing machine and press break to cut and shape the skin sheets of honeycomb panels. Skin sheets are cut as per the final sizes and shapes of honeycomb panel.
Step 2: Glue spraying. We use two components PU glue for bonding our skin sheets to honeycomb core. The glue is sprayed evenly on the back side of face skin sheets.
Step 3: Honeycomb panel assembly. The two face skin sheets are put together with honeycomb core at this step, and form a 3 layer proudct structure.
Step 4: Panel pressing. We use 50tons pressing machine to laminate the honeycomb panels and the glue will cure in about 6 to 8 hours time to well bond the three layers of material firmly together.
Step 5: Honeycomb panel edge trimming. For open edge panel, we will need to trim the panel edges to make it straight and nice.
