Solid Aluminium Panel Manufacturing

Kingmets solid aluminium panel is pre-fabricated as per customer's shop drawing and pre-painted with powdercoat or spray liquid paint.

Manufacturing process of solid aluminium panel is as below:

Step 1: Cutting the shapes of solid aluminium panels as per the developed area of each cassette. In this step we cut the panel outline, drill the holes for adding brackets, do the grooving to prepare for folding the panels.

Step 2: Turret punching. In this step, we do customized punching of holes as per drawing in case perforation is needed. Like regular circular holes, rectangle holes, triangle holes etc.

Step 3: Customized laser cutting. In this step, if any irregular patterns, we can use this laser cutting machine to cut out the irregular shapes and get customized patterns and designs on the solid panel.

Step 4: Folding panel edges by using press break. Generally the solid aluminium panel edges are folded 20mm to 25mm for adding brackets.

Step 5: Welding the reinforcement ribs. When panel size is big or wide, we generally need to add U channels on the back side of solid aluminium panel as reinforcement purpose to make panel surface flat enough.

Step 6: Adding brackets (L-shape angle). Brackets (L angle) is to connect the panels to the frame on the wall.

Step 7: Sanding the panel surface. This is to get rid of impurity and dirts on the panel surface, and meanwhile to make panel surface a bit rough for better paint adhesion after painting.

Step 8: Surface cleaning and painting. During this step, the panel surface will be washed and then powder coat or spray with liquid paint, to get the required color that customer has ordered.
